No Matter The Odds - JP Vartanian

"I’m JP Vartanian, I’m a Business Management student at UCF, and welcome to A Minute In my Shoes.

I was born in Brazil, and I have had a dream to study abroad since I was 6 or 7 years old. As some of you may know, the U.S. and Canadian dollars are not favorable towards our currency, so it has been a big challenge.

However, in 2016, I had the opportunity to move to Victoria, British Columbia for 6 months; that leaves my parents without me for 6 months. From the moment I stepped into Sao Paulo International Airport, I knew I wasn’t going to stay there for just 6 months, but I’m going to do my best to stay there as long as I can.

So I’ve been able to live 1.5 years there, then lived over a year in Raleigh, North Carolina, and now I’ve been in Orlando for over a year now. My advice for you guys is to be resilient and not give up!"
