"I'm Rob Lawless, and I am the creator of Robs10kfriends. My journey to spend one hour, one on one, with ten thousand different people.
I graduated from Penn State in 2013 with a major in Finance and minors in Accounting and Entrepreneurship. After school, I did consulting for Deloitte for a year and three months. Then I went to a tech startup in Philadelphia, did sales for them for a year and nine months.
In that time, I started this crazy journey. I started Robs10kfrends in November 2015. Eight months later, I took it full time when that startup was acquired. Since then, I have driven across the U.S six different times. I have lived in Los Angeles, New York City, and Philadelphia. I have been covered by sources like Ryan Seacrest, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and the Today Show. I have met over 3600+ people and am continuing to do this full time until I hit ten thousand which should take like 10 more years."
